Institute of Antimicrobial ChemotherapyInstitute of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (IAC) was founded in 1999 at the basis of Department of Clinical Pharmacology of Smolensk State Medical Academy. Stratchounski, who is also President of The Interregional Association for Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (IACMAC), Head of Center for Monitoring of Antimicrobial Resistance (CMAR) of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation, Member of the Executive Committees of the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) and European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), Commission on Antibiotic Policy of Ministry of Health of Russia, Pharmacological State Committee of Ministry of Health of Russia, Scientific Committees of various national and international conferences and Fellow of Infectious Diseases Society of America.
