EQA 1998 – WHO/CDC/IACMAC External Quality Assurance Program
In 1997-98 IACMAC implemented an EQA program for evaluating work in microbiological laboratories in Russia. Eighteen laboratories from Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Moscow, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Novosibirsk, Smolensk performed quality assurance tests that were distributed in Russia by IACMAC.
The obtained results are of a considerable interest and were a useful tool in improving quality of microbiological work-up in participated laboratories.
